Ceramic balls feature very low surface roughness and are especially suited for scanning cast iron surfaces. For ball diameters (DK) of 12 mm or more, ceramic is the standard choice of ball material.

Keramikkugeln zeichnen sich durch eine sehr geringe Oberflächenrauheit aus und sind besonders gut für das Scannen von Gusseisenoberflächen geeignet. Ab einem benötigten Kugeldurchmesser (DK) von 12mm fällt die Wahl des Kugelmaterials im Standard auf Keramik.
