Description
Micro styli for 3D coordinate measuring machines have been specially developed for tactile measuring tasks with extremely small or difficult-to-access geometries such as the measuring of very small bores and delicate contours.
The vacuum brazing process is particularly effective and reliable for small balls. Robust stepped design for maximum stability.
Styli without threads enable precise measurement of even the smallest component features. They are fixed in suitable styli holders and consist of a carbide shaft with a ruby ball as standard. Naturally, other materials are also possible. In combination with suitable connecting elements, a wide range of configurations can be realized—e.g., L, T, or star probes.
